For an afternoon of FUN and some learning too at the 13 street Craft Beer and Wine Festival. Artists Susie Q. Frank Polanco, Maria Alejandra Castro, Henrique Souza and guest artists will be showcasing their recently DECKED OUT Little Free Library with their unique inspirational creative views.
Some of the finished Little Free Library will be up for auction during the event.
Guest will be able to learn more about the artist process and their whimsical inspiration.

has joined forces with the The Central City Alliance and The City of Fort Lauderdale together we will be hosting "Deck Out a Little Free Library"
during the upcoming 13 Street Beer & Wine Festival
Saturday, March 2, 2019
4-8pm
along NE 13 Street in Fort Lauderdale.
Participating artist will embellish with their creative art a "Little Library"
Artist will include a whimsical story to their creation
and are expected to find a home within the community for their final product.
Little Library's Goal
Children in many neighborhoods cannot read because they don't have easy or safe access to books. The Greater Fort Lauderdale Little Free Library project is a collaborative effort to do something about it.
The concept is simple: Take a book, share a book.
One of the primary goal with the program is that every child in the Greater Fort Lauderdale has access to a book and is able to read by the end of third grade.
Adults and children are encouraged to visit one of the already placed birdhouse - style Little Libraries and take a book. When they are finished reading the book, they can return it to one of the many locations for others to enjoy.
The goal is to ensure that every child has safe and easy access to a free book.
Little Free Libraries can be found at private homes, churches, parks in the Greater Fort Lauderdale area.
